Closing ceremony of 28th Iran Algebra Seminar held on Wednesday, July 20

The closing ceremony of the 28th Iran Algebra Seminar was held on Wednesday, July 20, with the appreciation of the scientific and executive committees. Prominent professors, experts, and academicians from the University of Maragheh, as well as from various institutions across the country attended the event.

According to the Public Relations Department of the University of Maragheh, at the beginning of the ceremony, Professor Mozhgan Mahmoudi, the representative of the Iranian mathematical society, while expressing special thanks for the worthy hosting of the University of Maragheh, said: "The 28th Algebra Seminar was held beyond what was expected, and its success and satisfaction are certainly due to the collective support of the professors, staff, students, and the board of governors of the university, especially the president of the University of Maragheh, Dr. Mohammad Zadashkoyan." 
She acknowledged that the University of Maragheh provided good days for the participants in Maragheh, Iran, and the evaluation of the 28th Algebra Seminar by the Iranian Mathematical Association is excellent. Dr. Mohammad Zadashkoyan, the president of the University of Maragheh, while expressing his satisfaction with the gratitude of the Iranian Mathematical Association, noted: "We believe that holding seminars, conferences, and scientific events can play a significant role in the progress and growth of the target society, and our efforts are to create more platforms for holding symposiums and national conferences at the University of Maragheh."
He pointed to the mission of the University of Maragheh in the field of food security and announced the holding of several conferences and meetings in September this year with the topics "Exploring the solution for population increase and its impact on the future generation," "Zeolite of the Iranian Chemical Society," and "Salt.".

Dr. Leila Shahbaz, the secretary of the seminar, also presented a report on the process of specialized and general lectures, educational workshops, and scientific meetings investigating the causes of mathematics students' lack of interest in pure mathematics and thanked the university board, scientific and executive committee, and sincere supporters.

At the end of the closing ceremony, the secretary and members of the scientific committee, as well as a group of managers and employees of the Financial, Cultural and Social, Student, Educational and Research Affairs, the Faculty of Basic Sciences, Public Relations, Technical and Civil Affairs, and cooperating students, were awarded plaques.
